The Tillman Story Pat Tillman gave up millions of dollars in the NFL to join the Army Rangers. The book "Where Men win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman" by Jon Krakauer tells the personal story of how Pat Tillman decided to leave the NFL for the the Army Rangers. Pat Tillman joined the Army because he believed that if you get punched in the face you need to punch back, that was why he was such a force in the NFL. He wasn't the biggest or the strongest or even the fastest on the field but he had the drive, well and heart to rise up to challenges. Jerry Bruckheimer was at ShoWest in Las Vegas over the weekend, and he's dished the dirt on casting for the newest Pirates of the Caribbean film -- On Stranger Tides. MTV exclusively learned that Penélope Cruz will be playing the swashbuckling sweetheart to Johnny Depp's character, Jack Sparrow. She also happens to be the daughter of Depp's nemesis, Blackbeard -- played by Ian McShane (probably the only reason I would want to see a 4th Pirates film). Bruckheimer told MTV that audiences can expect a lot of humor from Cruz's character and called her "feisty" -- confirming that she will be playing a Spanish character which is perfect considering she's ...
